PRINCIPALS

Ken Scott

Ken ScottKen Scott is a Certified Executive Coach and seasoned Organizational Consultant who has worked at a senior level for many years in a variety of industries. Much of Ken's career has focused on working with managers and executives undergoing change and organizations in a project mode.

Ken has worked in a senior H.R. capacity for Foothills Pipelines, Alsands Energy, TransCanada PipeLines, Carewest, and for over 10 years with national consulting firms. He has also facilitated H.R. and other administrative functions in tandem with the development of strategic plans, mission statements, corporate values statements and organizational change.

Ken has a B.Sc. and M.B.A. from the University of Alberta and completed 3 years of doctoral study at the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from the School of Business at Royal Roads University. Ken has given numerous presentations at local, national and international forums and has taught in universities in Australia, California and Calgary. Ken also has a long background of commitment to the community, serving on the boards of Calgary Health Services, Calgary Home Care Committee, Health Unit Association of Alberta, the Calgary Regional Health Authority and Human Resource Institute of Alberta.

Carol Gauthier

Carol GauthierCarol Gauthier provides a broad range of Human Resource support based upon her 22 years experience in Human Resources with Shell Canada Limited and several years of subsequent contracting/consulting.

Example projects through Scott-Gauthier Inc. are recruitment for explorationists in a junior oil and gas company, recruitment for marketing staff in a major energy company, and direct sourcing for executives of a high tech company.

Carol has also dealt with the communication of new flex benefits, designing and implementating a salary and benefits survey and making recommendations based upon the results, researching and drafting numerous HR policies, interviewing staff and writing job descriptions for a compensation review program, coaching managers on performance reviews, and creating executive compensation handbooks.

Carol has a B.A. from the University of Guelph. She also has a long background of commitment to the community, serving in the Calgary '88 Olympics, the World Police and Fire Games ('Toughest Competitor Alive') and condominium Board and Executive.
